Not copy or built purposely to tilt, the teluk Intan Leaning tower, a clock tower is built in 1885 by a chinese, Leong Choon Choong. The pagoda like tower was use to covered water tank for the Teluk Intan residents, it was later then used by the Japanese as observation tower during world II and later Boy's Scouts headquarters.
Well, it started to tilt towards jalan Bandar Road of about 1.8m between 1889 and 1895.
Today, remains as it is, you can hear the chimes from the tower as far as 8km twice every 15 minutes. Especially on Wednesday, you get to see the caretaker who will wind up the clock and doing some maintaining works for the tower. To get here, exit at Bidor Interchange and head towards Teluk Intan and into jalan Selat Road from the north-south Expressway .

Thaipusam is a Hindu festival celebrated mostly by the tamil community. The 2000 Census placed the population at roughly 23.27 million. Of this number, bumiputeras are the most numerous ethnic group (broadly speaking), and are defined as those with cultural affinities indigenous to the region and to one another. Technically, this group includes people of the aboriginal groups and ethnic Malays. A smaller segment of the population is nonbumiputera groups such as the Chinese, Indians, Arabs, and Eurasians, most of whom descended from settlers to the region in the past 150 years. It is important to know the difference between the bumiputera and nonbumiputera groups to understand Malaysian politics, which favors the first group in every policy. It is equally important to understand that despite ethnic divisions, each group is considered no less Malaysian.

REDANG ISLAND

There is one of thousand islands in malaysia with it's pearly white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, colorful array of marine life, spectacular starry nights and breathtaking sunrise, it also offers the ultimate hideaway for those seeking privacy and relaxation.
